Centennial Lecture Series

Come celebrate the centennials of the municipalities of Oak Bay and Saanich, by attending a special fall lecture series at the University of Victoria. The Centennial Lecture Series will feature three world-class speakers:

• former Saskatchewan premier and leader of the Future of Health Care in Canada commission Roy Romanow (Oct. 12);
• noted anthropologist and ethnobotanist Dr. Wade Davis (Nov. 7); and
• Canadian politician, broadcaster and diplomat Stephen Lewis (Nov. 17).

Each lecture begins at 8 p.m. in the University Centre Farquhar Auditorium. Admission is $10 or $25 (plus service charges and GST) for the entire series. Tickets can be purchased in person, or by calling 721-8480 or online.

The lectures are hosted by the municipalities of Oak Bay and Saanich and UVic, and proudly sponsored by the CIBC. All ticket proceeds will go to the new Oak Bay and Saanich Centennial Scholarship Fund at UVic.
