Have you registered? UVic Emergency Alerts
UVic Emergency Alerts is a notification system that allows the university to quickly contact students and employees with important information during an emergency - via email, telephone and mobile text messaging.
You can also receive emergency notifications on Twitter - follow us @uvicemerg.
**The next campus-wide test of the UVic Emergency Alerts system will take place during the week of October 16-20.**
What do I need to do?
Please ensure your contact information is up to date. Visit www.uvic.ca/personal-profile (you may need to log in with your Netlink ID and password). Add a mobile phone number to your personal profile if you wish to receive emergency text messages on your mobile phone. Providing personal contact information is completely voluntary. However, providing your personal mobile phone number will increase the likelihood that UVic is able to contact you in an emergency.
For more details, visit the UVic Emergency Alerts website or contact Manager of Emergency Planning Daphne Donaldson at ddonald@uvic.ca.
