VLA 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award

UVic President announces security review

University of Victoria President David Turpin is commissioning a review of the recent security breach at the university involving the theft of personal information of nearly 12,000 current and former employees.

Information on theft of personal information

During a break-in at the Administrative Services Building over the weekend of Jan. 7 and 8 a small amount of cash, some cheques, electronic devices and employee information were stolen. The university is recommending its employees take measures to ensure their personal information is not compromised.
